Referral Program Terms
General terms for Wonder referrals, vouchers, and partner compensation
Last Updated: September 2026
These Referral Program Terms govern participation in referral, voucher, and promotional partner activities offered by The Wonder Cloud Company ("Wonder," "we," "us," or "our"). By submitting a referral, distributing a Wonder voucher, or accepting a referral benefit, you agree to these terms and any campaign-specific conditions shown to you.
1. Eligibility
Individuals and organizations may participate when invited, approved as a partner, or given access to an active referral feature. Participants must be legally able to enter an agreement, provide accurate contact and payment information, and comply with Wonder's Terms of Service and applicable law. We may decline or remove a participant if an account is not in good standing, required verification is incomplete, or a conflict of interest exists.
Employees and contractors may participate only with written authorization. A participant may not refer themselves, an account they control, or a person whose identity or eligibility has been misrepresented.
2. How referrals and vouchers work
Wonder may provide a referral link, code, voucher, campaign page, or another tracking method. The prospective customer must use the designated method within the stated campaign period. A referral becomes qualified only after Wonder can attribute it to the participant and the referred customer completes the actions described for that campaign, which may include account approval, a valid purchase, expiration of a refund period, or continued account eligibility.
Vouchers may provide a trial, discount, credits, or another stated benefit. They are subject to their displayed expiration date, eligible products, territory, and usage limits. Unless Wonder states otherwise, vouchers are not cash, cannot be sold or transferred, and cannot be combined with other offers. Lost, altered, copied, expired, or technically invalid vouchers may be rejected.
3. Compensation principles
Referral compensation may take the form of account credits, discounts, a fixed fee, or a percentage described in a separate partner agreement or campaign notice. No compensation is earned merely because a link was clicked or a lead was submitted. Wonder validates qualification, cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, duplicate leads, taxes, and fraud checks before approving a benefit.
Approved cash compensation is paid according to the schedule and minimum threshold in the applicable agreement. Participants are responsible for accurate payment details and their own tax reporting. Wonder may reverse or offset benefits connected to refunded, disputed, fraudulent, or incorrectly attributed transactions. Our records govern attribution unless the participant provides clear evidence of a tracking error.
4. Prohibited conduct
Participants must not create fake or duplicate accounts, make unauthorized purchases, impersonate Wonder, bid on Wonder trademarks in paid search without permission, send spam, use bots, hide referral links, place misleading advertisements, or promise prices, features, income, availability, or service levels that Wonder has not authorized. Participants must clearly disclose that they may receive a benefit from a referral where required by law.
Referral materials may not appear beside unlawful, discriminatory, deceptive, sexually explicit, or harmful content. Participants may use approved Wonder names and materials only for the program and must stop using them when participation ends.
5. Confidentiality and data
Non-public pricing, customer information, campaign results, product plans, credentials, and business information received through the program are confidential. Participants may use them only to perform authorized referral activities and must protect them from unauthorized access. Lead and customer personal data must not be collected, purchased, or shared without a lawful basis and appropriate notice. Wonder processes program information according to its Privacy Policy.
6. Suspension, termination, and changes
Either party may end participation at any time. Wonder may suspend tracking, withhold pending benefits, invalidate vouchers, or terminate participation when it reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, legal risk, a terms violation, or harm to customers or Wonder. Benefits validly earned before termination remain subject to verification, reversals, and the applicable agreement.
We may change or end a campaign, including its qualification rules and benefit amounts. Changes apply prospectively unless needed sooner to prevent abuse or comply with law. Participation does not create employment, agency, franchise, exclusivity, or authority to bind Wonder.
7. Contact
Questions about a referral, voucher, or partner arrangement may be sent to [email protected]. Include the relevant code or campaign name, but do not send passwords or payment card details.
title: "Referral General Terms" description: "Rules for Wonder referral and partner voucher introductions" lastUpdated: "2026-09-01"
Last Updated: September 2026
These Referral General Terms describe how The Wonder Cloud Company ("Wonder," "we," "us," or "our") works with people and organizations that introduce Wonder to prospective customers ("Referral Partners"). They apply together with any written partner agreement, voucher rules, and Wonder's Terms of Service. If a signed agreement conflicts with this page, the signed agreement controls for that partner.
1. Purpose of the program
Wonder may allow Referral Partners to share approved offers, voucher codes, or introduction links so that families, schools, and businesses can evaluate or purchase Wonder Desktop or related services. A referral is a commercial introduction. It is not a shared user account, not a license to operate another person's desktop, and not permission to promise features Wonder does not provide.
2. Eligibility
Participation is limited to partners Wonder has accepted or invited. Wonder may require accurate business identity, contact details, tax information, and agreement to these terms before issuing vouchers or tracking referrals. Wonder may refuse, suspend, or end participation at any time when a partner misrepresents the service, harms customers, violates law, or creates operational risk.
Qualified referrals are those that result in a valid customer relationship under Wonder's then-current commercial rules. Wonder alone decides whether a signup, trial, activation, or payment counts as qualified for compensation.
3. Vouchers and introductions
When Wonder issues vouchers or referral codes, partners must distribute them only through channels Wonder has approved or that are consistent with these terms. Partners must not sell Wonder accounts, rent credentials, or ask customers to share facial login data, passwords, or recovery codes.
Partners should explain Wonder honestly: browser access through Chrome, the difference between Family, Educational, and Corporate modalities, network requirements, and the distinction between Wonder Desktop and Wonder Cloud IaaS when that distinction matters to the buyer. Links to Wonder tutorials, blog articles, and official pages are preferred over improvised claims.
4. Compensation
Where compensation applies, Wonder pays according to the partner's written schedule or voucher program rules. Payments are typically processed on a periodic basis after Wonder confirms qualified activity and any refund, chargeback, fraud, or cancellation windows have passed. Minimum thresholds, currency, tax withholding, and payment method may be set in the partner agreement.
No commission is owed for self-referrals, fraudulent signups, recycled identities, or sales that Wonder cancels for policy or non-payment reasons. Wonder may withhold or claw back amounts tied to invalid activity.
5. Partner responsibilities
Referral Partners must:
- Follow Wonder brand, marketing, and messaging guidelines when they exist
- Keep customer and Wonder business information confidential
- Avoid unauthorized warranties about performance, uptime, software availability, pricing, or legal compliance
- Direct customers to Wonder support channels for account, login, and technical issues
- Comply with applicable advertising, consumer, privacy, and anti-spam laws in every market they reach
Partners must not run misleading comparisons, create fake reviews, impersonate Wonder staff, or collect personal data on Wonder's behalf without a lawful basis and Wonder's written approval.
6. Independence
Referral Partners are independent contractors, not employees, franchisees, or agents with power to bind Wonder, unless a separate written instrument says otherwise. Partners are responsible for their own taxes, expenses, and local registrations.
7. Termination
Either party may end the referral relationship as described in the partner agreement, or Wonder may end it immediately for material breach, fraud, or legal risk. After termination, partners must stop using Wonder vouchers, marks, and confidential materials, except as needed to wind down open customer handoffs that Wonder still accepts.
8. Changes
Wonder may update these Referral General Terms by posting a revised version with a new last-updated date. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the update, unless a signed agreement requires a different change process.
